Whole Body Method Team
Meet Our Team
Since the moment I learned to crawl, I don’t think I’ve ever stopped moving. Growing up in California, I quickly realized that fitness is essential to getting the most out of an active outdoors (or indoor!) lifestyle. In school, I played field hockey, soccer and softball, and as if that was somehow not enough, I ran 2 miles every day. I’ve been a practitioner of yoga, Cardio Barre, Gyrotonics and CrossFit training, all of which have terrific benefits, but I have found Pilates to be the best method for attaining genuine whole-body fitness and acquiring a healthy body awareness. I have an extensive education in nutrition and love to share this knowledge with my clients as a complement to the Pilates results. In addition to helping others achieve their fitness goals, I put what people have called my “infectious enthusiasm” to use as a successful infomercial hostess and actress. My core belief and my approach to Pilates is that fitness, like life itself, should be fun.
At a young age, Regina began Pilates training as a mean to cross-train with her ballet. When she was first introduced to Pilates at Kirov Academy of Ballet (Washington D.C.), where Pilates was offered as one of the mandatory classes in the artistic curriculum, she immediately saw its positive effect on her dancing - better balance, more turns, higher jumps, and higher legs! By building stronger core, she was now executing ballet techniques that once seemed impossible. That is when she realized that human body is a bottomless well that is waiting to be discovered and challenged. From injury prevention to physical therapy to even fitness goals, Pilates encourages an individual to be in better tune with one's body and mind. With her keen eye for detail and compassionate heart, this Russian trained ballerina is there to safely spot you, challenge you, and motivate you until you achieve your personal fitness goals!

She has experience teaching nutrition and leading seminars in wholeness and wellness. She enjoys being outside under the warm sun and among the bright colors in the garden. You can either catch her cruising the city on her long - board, food tripping, or practicing her calligraphy or water color painting.
Meghan is a lot of things in her life. A model, actress, sideshow artist and fire breather; but it was the over 20 years of ballet that brought her to Pilates.
When she was first introduced to Pilates in 2010 she found just how it spoke to her body as a dancer. The long and lean muscles it created, and the deeper core strength that she benefited the most from. She believes in Pilates creating a more complete physical workout reaching all the muscles for a stronger and healthier body. Meghan custom designs workouts for each client and class based on the person, their body, and ability each day. Whether you are looking to for more control or strength or tone she can create a workout for you. And make no mistake if it’s a workout you want she will make you sweat too, all the while loving it. She wants you to get the most out of every workout, while focusing on control and form. Meghan comes from a place of health and happiness and is passing that onto you.

Jisun Kim is a born and raised Angeleno who graduated with a degree in Sociology from UCLA. Growing up in Los Angeles, she has always loved hiking but never considered herself an athlete and tried multiple disciplines to try to find something that connected her to her body and that was fun. Pilates was the first practice that she did not tire of after a few months and each time she did Pilates, it brought her renewed enthusiasm for the work. Pilates brought her to a deeper awareness of her mind-body connection and the idea of moving with purpose and strength resonated with her.
Having experienced firsthand the transformation of her own body through Pilates, you can count on Jisun to challenge and push you with compassion as well as train you to move and strengthen your body with precision and control. Joseph Pilates believed that the practice of Pilates should energize you and support you in living a joyful, active life and Jisun brings that spirit into her work with clients.
After breaking her leg, ankle, toe, and dislocating her shoulder playing Rugby at UC Berkeley, Jen turned to Pilates in 2012 as a form of rehabilitation. Finding that Pilates made her stronger, more energized, and in tune with her body she fell in love with the benefits. Jen feels Pilates helped her not only regain muscle that atrophied but also build long, lean muscle, while improving her posture and strengthening her core.
While changing careers from Paralegal to Accountant Jen continued her Pilates practice until she realized she needed to teach Pilates and share it with others. Wanting to help clients through Pilates, whether it be rehabilitation from an injury or live a healthy lifestyle, she tries to help clients achieve their goals while also educating them on form and connecting to their bodies.
When Jen is not in a Pilates studio she can be found hiking, traveling, or finding new delicious restaurants and foods to try. Jen is committed to helping clients live their best life and strongly believes “little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking”. If you haven’t already, try Pilates and see what happiness it can bring to your life and body!

Maria Groezinger was raised in Massachusetts, lived in San Francisco, and settled into life in Los Angeles. She owns LA Apparel Services where she has been consulting and facilitating in Apparel Manufacturing for the past 17 years, “I love the creative process and witnessing my client’s ideas and dreams take a three-dimensional form”.
Having practiced Yoga and Pilates at home as a way to stay flexible and strong, taking classes in the studio was a game changer, but the light bulb went off when her daughter was in a car accident breaking her pelvis and tailbone. Maria witnessed the PT using Pilates in the therapy sessions, and in that moment, she knew Pilates could heal people who were willing to put in the time and effort, to bring in the Mind, Body, and Spirit connections to their practice.
“Getting Certified in Classical Pilates is a dream come true”, wanting a deeper connection, she enrolled into a yearlong program at Whole Body Method, where she got certified in early 2018. The school and studio allowed space to deepen her own self practice, “I discovered by the 5th levels you are an athlete, moving my body in ways I didn’t know I could”. During this year she assisted seasoned teachers, taught clients and attend workshops to deepen her understandings of the art. To continue on the journey of Mind, Body and Spirit.
Maria is currently enrolled in Holistic Health Mastery “The Masters Class in Natural Nutrition” and “The Life Food Peak Performance System”, volunteers and is on the BOD with Peace4Kids.org, advocating for youth in the foster care system.
